Special Services

Christmas services each year begin with lighting advent candles on December 2. A children's pageant follows early in the month. In 2007, the children's pageant told the "Good News" of the birth of Jesus Christ.

In mid-December the choir performs the Christmas Cantata, from the choir pews before the Keck New Testament windows.

Christmas services conclude with the bell choir playing on on the last Sunday of advent, and a candlelight service on Christmas Eve.

Chancel dramas and special pageants are also featured. In September, 2007, a special pageant was held to open work toward our Heifer Project goal. With the congregation helping, the animals called out and disembarked from the ark, each to a Presbyterian mission destination to help needy people of the world.
